Our History
FRED TERHAAR
Founder
The journey of TERHAAR stained glass studio began in 1959 when Fred Terhaar, an architectural designer and stained glass artisan, founded the studio.
Fred’s passion for stained glass began during his apprenticeship on the iconic windows of St. John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville, Minnesota.
His dedication to the craft laid the foundation for the high standards of artistry and quality that we uphold today.
